JENNIFER CRITTENDEN (Playwright)
started her career writing monologue jokes for David Letterman. An Emmy-winning writer, Jen has also won two Humanitas Prizes and a Writers Guild Award. In theater, she and Gabrielle Allan wrote The Pirate La Dee Da for The Atlantic Theater Company, a New York Times Critic’s pick and winner of the Off Broadway Alliance Award for best family show.

GABRIELLE ALLAN (Director) is a writer. Credits include: Scrubs, Veep and Housebroken, among others. She is thrilled to be making her directorial debut at The OOB Festival!

SCARLETT STRASBERG (Violet Johnson) (he/him) graduated with honors in Drama from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Rep: Osbrink Agency, IG: Scarlettstrasberg.

MEHRAN KHAGHANI (Elliot Hanke) is a New York-based stand-up comedian and actor. He was most recently in Steven Soderbergh’s The Fears and performs regularly at the Comedy Cellar.

KATE ROBIN (Lauren Case) is a playwright (productions include: Anon, I See You, What They Have, Intrigue With Faye, The Light Outside, Swimming In March) and screenwriter (credits include One Mississippi, Dead To Me, The Affair, Six Feet Under.) Acting credits include HBO’s Girls and Six Feet Under, Three Ways to Go Blind, Slaves of New York.)

SANDY CHAPLIN (Gene) Right now you are currently reading my biography. Our director told me it should be 25 words or less so that’s what I did!

THOMAS GODWIN (A3) is a writer from New York. After graduating from Brown, he worked as the showrunner’s assistant on Netflix’s Uncoupled starring Neil Patrick Harris. He loves dogs and struggles profoundly with restaurant QR code menus.

SHIV PAI (Teo Rivas) is thrilled and honored to be working with this team on The Issue. Credits include Marvel’s Iron Fist, Uncut Gems, All There Is.

ADELINE GRIMMETT (Stage Manager) Rising college senior studying Applied Math and Theatre. Credits include: Marie Antoinette; Julius Caesar (PSM: Tufts University). Upcoming: Cabaret; Between the Lines (PSM, Tufts University).
