Finding the Theatre
Photo Route – Coming Soon! This year’s OOB Festival takes place at The Lynn F. Angelson Theater (136 East 13th St, New York, NY 10003).
Accessible Drop-Off Point
The venue is on the ground floor, but there is a bike lane directly in front of the theatre. The closest accessible drop-off point would be the opposite side of 13th street across from the entrance (136 East 13th St, New York, NY 10003).
Seating & Viewing
The Lynn F. Angelson Theater offers seating for patrons who use wheelchairs and other mobility devices, are visually impaired, or could otherwise benefit. There are two types of chairs in this theater. Red chairs make up the majority of seating options. Red chairs are 16” wide and 17” deep, with armrests that are 18” apart. The first row of each section and a few additional aisle seats are grey chairs. Grey chairs are 16” wide and 17.5” deep, with a cushion. They do not have armrests. The front rows have assigned ADA seats which can be removed to accommodate wheelchairs. OOB Festival tickets are general admission, so we recommend emailing [email protected] in advance so that we can ensure your needs are met.
Accessible Toilets
Accessible toilets are available in the theatre, and the theater has a wheelchair-accessible restroom.
Respite Areas
During the performance, the lobby will be a quieter space, though there may still be people present. Re-entry will be permitted. Between sessions, an alternate respite area will be available. See OOB staff for assistance.
Read-Along Scripts
For those who are d/Deaf or hard of hearing, read-along scripts can be requested ahead of each performance. Email your request to [email protected] at least 24 hours prior to the performance to ensure availability.
